Terrestrial Planets rotation and revolution !

we  are  going  to  see  the  rotation & revolution  of  planets  of  our  solar  system . 

                                           TERRESTRIAL PLANETS :                                                

Mercury :

          Mercury  turns  in  counter-clockwise  , it  rotates  on  its  own  axis  and  completes  one  rotation  for  59  earth  days . It  has  the  shortest  time  for  one  revolution ( revolution  period - 88 days ) , Mercury is  tilted  just  2  degrees  of  its  axis  of  rotation . (mercury)

VENUS :

          Venus  ,  second  planet  to  the  sun  , and  rather  than  mercury  ,  Venus  bares  a  lot  of  heat  due  to  greenhouse effect . Mainly ,  Venus  rotates  in  the  opposite  direction  of  its  orbital  revolution . (clockwise) , venus  is  tilted  3  degrees  of  its  axis  of  rotation .

rotation period - 117 earth days , 

revolution period - 225 earth  days . (venus)

EARTH :

          Earth  turns  in  counter-clockwise  ,  the  earth  is  tilted  by  23.5  degrees . Earth  rotates  on  its  own  axis  , producing  24 hour  day . Earth  revolves  around  sun  to  produce  365-day year . The  main  reasons  for  seasons and  change  of  seasons is  only  revolution  of  earth  around  the  sun . (earth)

Mars :

           Mars , also  known  as  red  planet . Mars  have  <1%  oxygen  and  99% of  carbon  dioxide . Mars  rotates  in  anti-clockwise  direction . It  has  25  degrees  of  tilt . 

rotation period  -  24.6  hours ,
